La neige

Snow is a rare event here in Busan. A week ago a few centimetres fell and the campus was overrun with little guys like these. Notice the 2 ball approach which is common here...When I draw the standard 3-ball a la Canadian style for my (elementary) students, they gasp in amazement.

I received an exciting package in the mail the other day. For the first time in almost two years living abroad, my dear brother actually sent me something! Well, actually he got a company to send me something, and he had (I'm sure) a lot of assistance from Margaret. In any case, it's a fantastic t-shirt, which sadly very few people I've shown it to find as cute and funny as I do. You can decide for yourself...

Welcome!

Welcome! To a journal of mostly insignificant things. If you were looking for profound wisdom or intellectual discourse, you've likely come to the wrong place. The purpose of this blog is not to wow you with clever commentary on current events, rather to take a look at the minutae that makes up my daily life. You will likely see lots of boring, commonplace and occasionally ridiculous things posted here, all of which somehow relate to the world as it passes before my eyes. Enjoy!
