La neige
Snow is a rare event here in Busan. A week ago a few centimetres fell and the campus was overrun with little guys like these. Notice the 2 ball approach which is common here...When I draw the standard 3-ball a la Canadian style for my (elementary) students, they gasp in amazement.

What exactly is the black stick like substance used to create korean snow man features?
I believe they are referred to as 'sticks'.
2 balled snowmen make sense in a country with such little snow. Surprised we don't have 5 balled snowmen here in Canada.

Is it just me or do those snowmen have slanty eyes?
Zibalatz, it's a very sunny day and so they have to SQUINT.
