Final Jeju post - Ancient provincial government grounds

As the title indicates, this was the local head of government compound.

Your photo of stairs evokes a quiet yet stirring mood while contemplating the duplicity of consciousness and existence. The differing height of step forces the viewer to examine the continuum of life as we move from young to old, feeble to strong to feeble. All the while, the single green leaf infers the conflict inherent between nature and technology, conscious and unconscious, and the forbearance of culture. The unsweppedness of the staircase asks the viewer "are your stairs clean?" and then compels them to examine their stairs in this new broken light. A riveting masterpiece. 9/10.
