Quack quack

A pleasant addition to the friend roster, Strapping John is valued for his good natured and straightforward approach to life, and also his enthusiasm when approaching all things edible. He had told about a restaurant that not only served up a tasty duck dish, but was set in idyllic surroundings amongst mountains and along a lakeshore - right within the city limits! So our intrepid bunch set off by taxi, and as was foretold, found said restaurant a mere ten minute ride away from a busy subway station. Turns out the lake is in fact a reservoir, I gather for the city's water. As you can see from the pictures, it truly was a most peaceful and lovely place. The food was pretty durn tasty too~!
That is Adam, John's friend, who has since departed for the fabled shores of Jeju Island. The big pot in the middle is the duck surrounded by the typical multitude of side dishes. Yum!
